These cajons are handcrafted from woods responsibly sourced from around the world.
All of the cajons in this series feature 6-ply Finnish Birch front plates and four adjustable snare wires to boost snare sound. The corners and edges are expertly beveled by hand by our master craftsmen to maximize playing comfort and enhance the cajon’s aesthetic contours.

Wenge is a special wood. Some might even say it is rich in mystic powers. For hundreds of years, it has been used in its native Africa to make ceremonial masks and statues paying homage to gods. Wenge is a very distinctive looking wood, with a dark brown heartwood. It has very close, fine black veins and white lines.
