The Immigration Department has opened 50 per cent of its counters at international airports nationwide as Malaysia fully reopen its international borders today.
Its deputy director-general (Management) Datuk Zakaria Shaaban said a total of 183 immigration counters at air entry points were opened today apart from 151 counters at exit points.
He said the 50 per cent reopening of Immigration counters involved the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), klia2, Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Kuching International Airport, Miri International Airport, Langkawi International Airport, Penang International Airport and Senai International Airport.
He told a press conference after receiving 283 travellers from Abu Dhabi at the KLIA arrival hall here today.
