While browsing Musicians Friend I discovered a Ibanez that I need in my hands. A green Sparkle Ibanez RG470MSP with a Wizard III neck.
I noticed that my points for earlier purchases never got applied so I called to add them so I could complete this purchase for this as Stated "In Stock" Guitar. The gear rep was helpful but told me none were in stock in the warehouse but a Guitar Center had one and They could ship it to me from one close by. I then had my points straightened out and completed the transaction. After being told that the guitar was a brand new guitar just not in the original box.
Later I received a Email from the Guitar Center Confirming that the guitar was most Definity a brand new guitar that would come in a different box.
When the guitar arrived and to my disbelief, I found that it was a very heavily damaged and worn guitar.
I immediately boxed it back up after speaking with a gear rep at MF and dropped it off within two hrs of opening the package.
Musicians Friend has assured me that they would send me a replacement on July 14th 2022 when the new batch comes in.
This is my first bad experience with MF. Stay tuned to see the future outcome. Hopefully all goes well.
This is the unboxing video of the guitar. You are seeing the damage for the first time with me. After some closer inspection I found that the guitar was simply bad all around.
