Though Uganda is increasingly becoming a regional tourism hotspot, most of the tourists, both international and local, only visit a handful of the more established national parks and other designated tourist areas. This leaves many potential tourist attractions unknown and unexplored.
Kyegegwa is one such place. The district boasts many sites of natural beauty including unique rock formations that would be of interest to nature lovers especially hikers and rock climbers.
Our reporter Agness Nandutu was in Kyegegwa recently and she explored some of these potential tourist sites.
