Our second day in Istanbul, Turkey was packed with visits to some of the city's most iconic places. Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Palace are all located in the Sultanahmet District and are definitely touristy, but still must-sees in Istanbul!
The Basilica Cistern was at the top of our bucket list. The cistern was closed for three years for restoration. We arrived shortly after it reopened and it did not disappoint!
