The purpose of this video is to highlight some of the features available with LAN controlled instruments using a commercially available VNC software tool.
I connect a SIGLENT SDS6000A series oscilloscope and an SDG7000A series arbitrary waveform generator together and then remotely control them using their LAN connections using VNC(r) Connect software.
The software provides simultaneous viewing and control of multiple instruments as well as manual window resizing for convenient remote viewing and control.
If you are remotely monitoring instrumentation, these types of tools can be very helpful in displaying information.
