Brain is the most complex organ in the human body. It consists of three main parts, the cerebrum, the cerebellum, and the brain stem and each of these parts has its specific functions. Weighs about 3 pounds, the brain controls our thoughts, memory and speech, movement of the arms and legs, and the function of many organs within our body. These functions in the brain are performed by microscopic cells within our brain, called neurons. Neurons (also called nerve cells) are the fundamental units of the nervous system which send and receive signals from your brain.
As amazing as it sounds, you must have been wondering does our brain ever sleep? Or does the size of the brain stays the same throughout our lives?
