It appears to be a dead end with stained glass of Princess Peach, but then you read a note she left behind on how Bowser's trapped her and all of her Toad servants within the castle.

Clever Peach was able to keep some of the Power Stars out of Bowser's reach, and it's through one of the stained glasses in that room. It's a portal to a secret slide area!

Carefully make slide your way down to the finish line to get that Power Star. If you can beat the time record of 21 seconds, you can get a second one! The only tedious thing here is that both will force you out of the place, so you'll have to go back through it to get the other one.
