I found these Valencia's tossed by the side of the road September 2nd 2013. They were scratched, gouged, had black mold, had been used as saw horses and had severe water damage located on the back particle board. Oddly enough, all the drivers and crossovers were intact, only one woofer needed repair. The sheer volume of hours it took to painstakingly restore the flaking and missing particle board back to what looks like today numbs my brain. Even the veneer was curling and missing in some places. The details are too much to list. As of today, they were finally ready to drag in to the living room and give them an audition. I'd listened to them outside and found the very highs and lows missing, made me think, "meh". But once I got them in the house, I was really impressed. I love horns and I love these. The lows are still a little lacking and there's more hours of auditioning to see what I'm going to end up doing with them. If nothing else it was a fun journey and am glad to have had the opportunity. Biggles
ps - At the end I drape a proposed acoustically transparent grill cloth for your perusal.
