The Palestinian Prisoners Society says more than 30 Palestinians have been detained overnight, across the region.

Further north, the Israeli army has extended its military assault in the Jenin refugee camp.
The raid has been ongoing for more than a week, leaving a trail of death and destruction.

Palestinian reporter Leila Warah says Israel’s latest assault in the occupied West Bank is not a counterterrorism operation as it claims, but an attempt to “fortify the occupation”.
