In today's video, I am testing out one of the new artist papers I got recently: the Strathmore Toned Blue Mixed Media Paper! Yes, I know, this paper has been out for a long time and I am just now getting around to trying it! Let me tell you guys, I was a little surprised by this paper, but you'll have to watch the video to find out why exactly.
In the video, we demonstrate by coloring a flower with a butterfly on it with the Caran d'Ache Pablos Colored Pencils! These pencils work well for details but they're also opaque enough to stand out on toned papers. I think the choice of pencil was well-suited for the paper, but what about the paper itself? If you have tried out other toned Strathmore paper, you probably already have a pretty good idea how this paper might perform! I hope this video helps some of you guys out if you're curious about this paper!
