Rep. Lauren Boebert said former President Donald Trump called House Republicans to "knock this off" and work together to elect Rep. Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House. "I think it actually needs to be reversed," Boebert said while nominating Rep. Byron Donalds for the speakership Wednesday. "The president needs to tell Kevin McCarthy that, 'Sir, you do not have the votes and it's time to withdraw.'"
