An affordable prefab home prototype has been released on the west coast. Hacienda CDC has partnered with Salazar Architect to bring a new mass timber modular home option to the West Coast. The home was designed to be one solution to the ongoing affordable housing crisis and is currently in prototype phase with 6 units being built in the port of Portland. The homes are projected to be finished in June at which time we'll find out more about what changes could be made and when they'll be available.
