If you're having trouble getting signal from an acoustic-electric guitar, these are some things you should check. None of the items on this list are revolutionary but in my experience, 90% of the hiccups I've encountered with acoustic-electric guitars can be fixed by triple checking the items on this list and putting a fresh battery into the pickup. If these things don't fix your guitar... it might be time to bring it in for repair.
