In 1983, Jacksonville, Florida woman Andrea Hicks Jackson calls police to file a report about a vandalized car, but when officer Gary Bevel arrives on the scene, he learns that Andrea has committed the vandalism herself in a fit of rage. While Bevel attempts to arrest Andrea for filing a false report, Andrea shoots the officer five times. She is sentenced to death, but her sentence is later commuted to life in prison.

Alyssa Bustamante, who was constantly neglected by her drug-addict mother, grows into a gothic teen with dark fantasies. In 2009, the 15 year-old lures 9 year-old Elizabeth Olten into the woods, where she uses a knife to slash the 9-year-old's throat, and uses her bare hands to strangle Elizabeth to death. Afterwards, Alyssa disposes of Elizabeth's body in a pre-dug grave.

17-year-old Felicia Morgan is an inner-city Milwaukee teenager on the fast track to a life of crime. In October 1991, Felicia encounters Brenda Evans and demands Brenda's leather coat. Brenda fights back, so Felicia shoots her to death and then wears Brenda's bloody coat.

A Docu-series all about how women become murderers. Enthralling and enticing to all interested in crime, murder and mysteries. This series has all the facts, all the point of views dire to each episode and it's story.

Each episode has a unifying theme such as jealousy, financial gain, mental illness, or crimes committed by teenagers or the elderly. The titles of the episodes reflect the theme. The stories are told through re-enactments and interviews.

Episodes also feature contributors in relevant fields (e.g. law enforcement, the law, the media, forensic medicine and medicine). Diane Fanning, M. William Phelps, Gregg Olsen, Wensley Clarkson, and Dr. Janis Amatuzio have made multiple appearances. Occasionally, family or friends of the subject or their victims appear to add context and or perspective.

At the end of each segment, the actress playing the subject (and her male and female conspirators, if any) break the fourth wall and look directly at the camera as their fates are revealed. In later seasons, photos of the actual subject are shown.
