태국 방콕서 5년만에 '서울관광설명회' 개최
An event to promote tourism in Seoul was held on Thursday in Thailand.
This to increase exchanges between the two countries as this year marks the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties between South Korea and Thailand.
The event, called "Color Your Lifestyle, Seoul in Bangkok," was organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Organization in order to boost tourism from Thailand to Seoul.
Participating were more than 100 people including major Thai travel agencies and media, as well as businesses in Seoul.
Visitors were able to experience various programs regarding K-beauty, drama and food.
More than half a million tourists from Thailand visited South Korea in 2019, making it Korea's sixth biggest source of tourism.
