There is a “little USA” in Germany: the Ramstein air base. It is the center for US Air Force operations across Europe and Africa, and a critical NATO hub. It hosts more than 50,000 Americans. The US conducts many of its arms deliveries to Ukraine from there. The base is criticized for its role in US drone operations.
