Martinez is a distinguished award-winning documentary filmmaker and television news coach. He received a George Foster Peabody award and three national Emmys as director/producer of ESPN's acclaimed SportsCentury series. Martinez is a note performance and storytelling coach who trains television journalists in performance, writing and producing.

How would you face cancer? Dallas Hope, a three-part documentary series from Baylor Health Care System, explores the real-life journeys of a young mother diagnosed with breast cancer, a 25-year-old in need of a stem cell transplant, and a retired business executive battling an incurable cancer.

Michelle, Cherysse, and Bill represent just 3 out of the 100,000 people in Texas who will be diagnosed with cancer this year.
