(25 Jun 1994) Ukraine's presidential election campaign drew to a close on
Saturday (25/6), with voters contemplating a two-horse race
between incumbent Leonid Kravchuk and a former prime minister
advocating closer ties with Russia.The campaign has been dominated by economic collapse, mass poverty and a 38 per cent decline in production last year.
