This optimized Baldurs Gate 3 (BG3) build for Shadowheart (or any cleric) for Act 2 turns her into a formidable spellcaster and support/healer. The goal here is to focus hard on supporting the rest of the party - offensively as well as defensively - rather than making Shadowheart the star of the show.
With this combination of levels, gear and prior choices Shadowheart becomes capable of some genuinely amazing support.
By just being present she blinds enemies, sees invisibility, has a high AC for tanking and debuffs those that actually hit her. With the use of her reaction she can reroll enemy hits on any nearby ally or herself (this ability is insane)
On her turn she can spend her bonus action to bless, heal and grant physical Damage resistance to up to 3 party members all at the same time. No concentration needed. Her summons will make sure most ally attacks have advantage at almost all times, and then she STILL has her main action to cast whichever of the elemental cantrips that works for the fight, with added damage AND a debuffing effect on the targets chance to hit.
Oh yeah. And she is also just a full caster with access to both cleric and Wizard spells as you please.

Subclass: Light
Cantrips: Guidance, Blade Ward, Sacred Flame
Lvl 2: Wizard 1
Cantrips: Mage Hand + The elemental ones you do not have on scroll (Or minor illusion if you dont have on anyone else)
Spells: Find Familiar, Shield, Enhanced Leap, (if you don't have it elsewhere) Fog Cloud, + whatever you please.
Lvl 3: Cleric 2
Lvl 4: Cleric 3
Lvl 5: Cleric 4
Cantrips: Resistance
Feat: Ability Score Improvement Wisdom (Simple version), Heavy Armor Proficiency (if you have no-one else using heavy armor and have the adamantine splint mail) or dual wielding (strongest choice if you short rest a lot, for double support weapon)

Lvl 7: Cleric 6
Lvl 8: Cleric 7
Illithid Powers: Not needed but Perilous Stakes is strong. Stage-fright can be nice too.

Warped Headband of Intellect
Adamantine Scale Mail (Or splint if heavy armor)
Evasive Shoes
Blood of Lathander (Use Phalar aluve 1/short rest. Or dual wield them)
Shield of Scorching Reprisal
Coruscation Ring
Necklace of Elemental Augmentation (periapt of Wound closure is another option)
The PACKAGE OF POTION BREAKING:
Dual Hand Crossbows (hit chance doesn't matter. For breaking potions with your bonus action)
Hellrider's Pride (Procs bladeward on anyone hit by potion breaking)
The Whispering Promise (Procs Bless without concentration on anyone hit by potion breaking)

Let Volo operate on your eye for Permanent See invisibility
