The latest cartridge announced by Hornady is the .22 ARC. The #22ARC is the exact same cartridge as the wildcat .22 Grendel / .224 Predator, which has been around for quite a long time. Now that Hornady is backing this cartridge and having it SAMMI approved next month, we will see factory firearms, as well as dies, brass and factory ammunition in .22 ARC. If history tells us anything, brass availability may be non-existent for a while. Creating 22 ARC brass from 6.5 Grendel brass is very simple. In this video, we go over the simple steps to do it properly. We have been shooting this cartridge lately and have seen very good results so far with velocities and on predators.
