Recovery from addiction is not easy, especially within a community that does not provide supportive services. Through Devin's personal journey through recovery, and establishing supportive services in her county, she shares how a community that supports recovery and meets people at whatever step of their journey is both necessary and possible. Devin Lyall is the founding Executive Director of a Recovery Community Organization located in North Carolina. Devin has been directly impacted by her own chaotic Substance Use and Mental Health and brings the lens of lived experience to her work. As a dedicated community organizer and educator, Devin brings passion and practical knowledge of serving, mobilizing, and organizing directly impacted individuals. Ms. Lyall is the recipient of many accolades and her work has received recognition and mention in many news publications and journals. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
