Prince of Wales Island is the largest of the 1,100 islands in the Alexander Archipelago, which stretches for 300 miles off the southeastern coast of Alaska. Veined by short river systems that empty into the Inside Passage to the east or the Pacific Ocean to the west, the island is home to populations of wild steelhead that swim up the rivers to spawn. When you’re focused on the water in front of you, landing a beautiful fish, it can be easy to forget that you are in the middle of one of the more spectacular landscapes in the world.
From November 14 through December 25, pause and de-stress from the frantic pace of the holidays with a daily #MomentofChill –which may involve a frolicking puppy, a crackling fireplace, or the soothing ripples of an untouched stream.
