In this video you can see how to get Hitmontop in Pokemon Crystal / Gold / Silver. You can also read about how to evolve Tyrogue to Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee, but will concentrate on Hitmontop because it's hardest to get. In order to evolve Tyrogue into Hitmontop it's attack and defense need to be the same on lv20 (when Tyrogue evolves), when you achieve that Tyrogue will become Hitmontop, if atk is higher Tyrogue will become Hitmonlee, if def is higher it will become Hitmonchan. In order to have Hitmontop first you need to have Tyrogue.
