The Rollercoaster Restaurant is inside the Alton Towers Theme Park in Staffordshire, England. You can eat their while visiting the theme park or after the theme park closes you can enter via a back entrance whether you paid to go in the resort or not.
The restaurant definitely has the entertainment factor with staff welcoming you to your table, giving you a tablet and explaining how to order and then you shouldn't need them again until it is time to pay.
We had to speak to them when we had missing food and when one dish got stuck, but they were friendly and helpful. It isn't the cheapest of restaurants, but all theme park food tends to be expensive.
They were really helpful with my dairy intolerance and insisted a chef came to talk to me.
If you are lucky (unlucky?) you might get to sit at one of the 2 groups of table whose food and drink loops the loop before arriving. I've heard the food looks a little shaken up and I'm not sure what state the beer would be in...
