We couldn’t let today (18/06) pass without a birthday shoutout to Sir Paul McCartney and we’re combining it with a childhood memory. Rupert and the Frog Song was an animated short film produced and written by Sir Paul. The song from the short, We All Stand Together, reached number three in the U.K. singles chart in 1984. Rupert the Bear first appeared in 1920, as a comic strip in the Daily Express newspaper. Paul voices Rupert, with Windsor Davies and June Whitfield also providing voices. A magical cartoon.
