Summit County, Ohio -- A Trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol was patrolling on the Turnpike when he pulled over a red Honda Accord.
The trooper then asked the driver to get out and he had his K-9 do an open air sniff on the car. The dog positively alerted.
Troopers then began to search the vehicle where they uncovered over 70 pounds of marijuana in the trunk which is worth about $195,000.
The driver and passenger, both later identified as Lazaro Jasiel Pina-Garcia and Raidy Manuel Madrigal-Estepe are facing the following charges:
- Possession of Marijuana (F2)
- Drug Trafficking (F2)
