Aaron Pilsan was born in Dornbirn in 1995 and is an Austrian pianist. He began learning the piano at the age of five and studied first with Karl-Heinz Kämmerling at the Mozarteum and then with Lars Vogt. In 2015, Pilsan was accepted into the Swiss Orpheum Foundation's sponsorship program and in 2017 was awarded the Deutschlandfunk Sponsorship Prize. In addition to classical and romantic works, his repertoire includes works by contemporary composers, and he has collaborated several times with composers such as Thomas Larcher and Jörg Widmann.
