Mistake #1 1:53
Everyone is Your Prospect - WRONG. Just because we think everyone can use and benefit from our product or service does not mean that they are a legitimate prospect. It is best to find people who are open to solving a problem, pain, need, or challenge that your company can provide the solution to by either becoming a representative or a customer. If you go after everyone this is a quick way to ruin your existing relationships.
Mistake #2 2:55
Social Media Pictures/Posts or links to your company website - This is not a good strategy because it kills curiosity on social media. Not only that but when you go to prospect people you are connected to on social media they guard is already up because they saw your post and are now suspicious of why you are messaging them. A better way to do this is to create curiosity with your posts.
Here are some sample script posts you can make: "just started a new business pretty cool," "wow my pay card just got loaded again, I never though this side gig would pay off so much," " I am now ___insert physical benefit__ because of my cool new __ vague description of product__, I'm so thankful!" This types of post create curiosity and get people to reach out to you instead of you hunting them.

Saying Too Much - In network marketing we have a tendency to be very excited about the business you are part of. This often leads to saying way too much about the company, the compensation plan, the product details, the recruiting, training, and etc. The real truth is that no one cares about that. What people do care about is, "whats in it for me?" The best thing to do is to say less to more people. Speak to people who are open to changing something in their lives and simply be an inviter. Building rapport and trust is crucial and is in part how you uncover the ways you can help others. When your prospect is open with their needs then you can invite. A great invitation you can use is this:
"Mr. Prospect if I could show you a way to __insert benefit or prospect's desire here__ would you open to taking a look at something?"
