About This Plant:
- Fine leaved, glossy foliage
- Exceptionally compact, 3" H by 3" W
- Deer resistant with a naturally rounded shape
- Full sun to part shade
- Cold hardy to 5 degrees Fahrenheit
- Hardy to USDA Zones 5 - 9
Before You Start:
- Find a tightly compact plant with finely leaved foliage
- Use sharp pruners
- Be brave, it will grow out if you get too scissor happy
How to Make Your Boxwood Topiary Ball:
1. Start at the top to make a short squatty profile
2. Constantly turn the plant to ensure cemetery
3. Be aggressive with your cuts, you really can't go wrong
4. Turn pruners on an angle to establish the curve around the sides
5. Keep cutting until you've reached your desired shape
6. To maintain your boxwood topiary prune frequently
