Pastor Bryan is stuck... He's trying to find a way to bring to life the Parable of the Hidden Treasure. Freddy has a couple of ideas... no one said they were good ideas though.

Devotional Questions:

1) Jesus said the kingdom can be compared to a treasure hidden in a field. Who or What is the treasure?

a) It could be us because we're God's treasure, or it could be the Kingdom because we leave our old life behind (sell everything)

2) Why did Jesus pay the highest price for us?

a) Because it brought Him joy!

3) How can we "sell everything" to have the Kingdom?

Jesus sets the example for us. He sold everything to have us for Himself. That's why we can sell everything, leave our old life behind, to have the Kingdom.

LETS PRAY for God to give us courage to leave our old life, our sin life, behind for the Kingdom, like He gave up His life for us!
