On March 28, 2016, the third and final day at the High Desert Distance Challenge, David Wiggins Jr. became the first person to throw over 1,100 feet when he threw a 154-gram Innova R-Pro Boss a record 1,108 feet (338 m).

David is one of the most well decorated distance throwers of all time and has been breaking records since he was 9 years old. When David was 13, he threw a disc 224 metres, a record which may never be broken.
