This 1 hour intermediate hatha yoga, yoga therapy class will combine yoga postures, mindfulness, reflective questioning, therapeutic yoga, meditation and mudras to make choices with your inner critic. Yoga postures chosen will allow you to bring choices to your inner critic.If you lack self confidence, have low self esteem or experience negative self talk, this series will help to build your self confidence and self esteem.
Over the last three weeks we have been on a journey of transforming our inner critic. We have befriended, brought awareness and acceptance to our inner critic. If you have not done Yoga with Dr. Melissa 276, 277 or 278 then you need to go back and do those classes now as this series is cumulative and relies on the knowledge you gained in those three classes to move forward.

Today’s class is about choices. Last week we brought acceptance to our inner critic acceptance. Once we accept our inner critic, we have a choices on how to be with it. In today’s class we will explore our relationship to choice. With the awareness, befriending and accepting our inner critic, realizing that it only wants to keep us safe, we come to the place that we can make a choice. We can choose to see that the inner critic is not us. We can choose to see that the inner critic played a role to keep us safe, but that it doesn’t have to keep running our life.
Now that we have awareness, and an attitude of friendliness and acceptance we can now bring some choices to our inner critic. We will make those choices with yoga postures, breath awareness, mudras and reflective questioning.
