Hoya de Huesca is placed between the foothills of the Pyrenees and the Ebro Valley. So here the visitor can find very diverse landscapes in short journeys: the ranges of mountains of the North hide cliffs, canyions, wild-water rivers, gorges, caves and "mallos" (synclines). Souther on, relaxing sceneries of scattered hills covered with olive trees, almond trees, cherry trees, pines and wineyard, wide cereal plains and wetlands and even steppe sites in the very South of the region. And above all this, important colonies of birds of prey and other types flying along this clean sky all year round.
