Welcome to a full episode of Honda CRF300L Level 1.0 tuning video. To my great surprise the tune actually made a very big difference in the upper RPM ranges and I can't stop smiling when I ride it. I was a bit intoxicated by the bike in this first ride but even after riding it for a longer trip the stock bike always felt like it was chocked up by the regulatory restrictions in the tune, exhaust etc. and now the tuned bike is not completely out of breath after 7k rpm. The bike stays alive in the upper register and if you keep it in the 6-9k mark the differences are very apparent.

As my channel is a lot about me real time reacting to different bikes I left the first ride almost uncut. It's not scientific but I hope you enjoy me reacting to my new toy like a little kid and don't take it too seriously 😎

I'm not saying everyone should do the mod like this but here is an option for you if you want to make it the way I did. I left the snorkel part LONG because I don't want there to be any confusion how I made it.

The mail in ECU update from 550 Performance was very fast and the ECU was back to Finland in under 2 weeks even though I used a slow post office shipment sending it in.

⭐️ About the exhaust:

I sent a query to Dominator if there is a "hard" DB killer available because the medium on the bike now is very loud for my taste. Unfortunately this (MX2) exhaust only has the "medium" killer that comes with the set. Be aware this setup is VERY loud. I might be swapping it to something like Yoshimura RS-4 or Arrow later if I can have a listen side by side and hear if they more pleasant.
The difference in internal diameter to the stock headers is +4mm so I recommend swapping the stock exhaust headers too because the stock pipe is pretty small and it's beneficial to have the exhaust diameter staying the same through the whole exhaust.
