Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma. Subramanian announced on Saturday that 53 persons were diagnosed with dengue in a day. 571 persons are currently under treatment in government hospitals for the infection across the state, the minister said as he was inspecting the preparedness of the Government Tiruvallur Medical College Hospital.
