I show how to test fuel pumps with a scanner using the direct injection fuel pressure test on the Autel scanner - MP808TS; an active scan tool. This test is done on the Honda Accord 2013 – 2017 with the GDI engine. If you're wondering how to test fuel pumps with a scan tool or how to test fuel pump without a gauge, or will scanner detect a bad fuel pump, or how to tell if you have a bad fuel pump, this video should help. Signs of bad fuel pump can look like other faults in the car. To test fuel pumps on direct injection engines a bi-directional scanner such as the Autel MP808TS, is required because of the high pressure pump (secondary pump). A regular fuel pressure test is not feasible given the extremely high pressure on this second fuel pump. GDI engines have 2 fuel pumps. You can check if the Autel MaxiPro device supports this test on your car here - [ Ссылка ]
