The Mitsubishi XForce is a new player in the subcompact crossover segment. The XForce adds Mitsubishi's signature vitality to a subcompact crossover with its aggressive appearance and athletic proportions.
The XForce is powered by the dependable 4A91 engine, a naturally aspirated four-cylinder gasoline engine also used in the Mitsubishi Xpander. When combined with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), this engine's output of 103 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 141 Nm at 4,000 rpm powers the front wheels.
Additionally, Mitsubishi has added capacity for tough roads with the XForce selectable driving modes—Normal, Wet, Gravel, and Mud. An additional degree of safety is provided by Mitsubishi's Active Yaw Control (AYC), which is standard on all trim levels.
Only the top-of-the-line XForce GT is equipped with a wireless phone charger, rain-sensing wipers, adaptive cruise control, rear parking sensors, and synthetic leather seats with heat guards (the GLS model has fabric seats).
Regarding suspension, the XForce has a torsion beam suspension system in the back and MacPherson struts up front. The crossover is equipped with disc brakes on each corner that provide stopping force.
Built on the same unibody basis as the Xpander, the XForce is meant to offer more comfort and stability, particularly on rutted roads.
A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, USB, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard on all models. Yamaha's eight-speaker sound system is also included with the XForce, which is built to PH specifications. In addition, there are ambient lighting settings, numerous Type A and Type C USB charging outlets, an eight-inch digital instrument panel, rear air conditioning vents, dual-zone automatic temperature control, ISOFIX rear anchors for child seats, and rear air conditioning vents.
The modern XForce features a boxy shape and sharp body curves, combining the newest iteration of Mitsubishi's Dynamic Shield design. The Xforce's specifications are as follows: its length is 4,390 mm, its width is 1,810 mm, its height is 1,660 mm, and its wheelbase is 2,650 mm. It has a curb weight that can range from 1,235 kg to 1,250 kg and a minimum ground clearance of 193 mm. LED headlights, foglights that wrap around the front bumper, and 18-inch alloy wheels with 225/50 series tires are all included on the GT and GLS models. The rear of the XForce also features a same motif on its LED taillights.
Hill-start assistance, active yaw control, reverse cameras, electronic brakeforce distribution, traction and stability control, and brake assist are all standard on Mitsubishi Xforce models. The GT version adds additional curtain airbags, while all variations come with twin front and side airbags as standard.
A number of sophisticated driver-assistants are exclusive to the GT model. Blind-spot detection, automatic high beam, rear-cross traffic alert, tire pressure monitoring, lead car departure notice, and forward collision prevention are some of these cutting-edge technologies.
