Posterior Cruciate Ligament is a tough fibrous band of tissue that works within the knee and it creates a criss-cross x structure. It is larger and stronger than the ACL. It can be classified into grades 1,2 and 3. Grades 1 are microscopic tears in the ligament, grades 2 is partially torn and the knee becomes unstable and grades 3 is completely torn or is separated at its end from the bone.
