Connor Hughes of SNY reports that the Giants QB depth chart could be written in pencil, giving Drew Lock a potential chance at becoming the Week 1 starter. Daniel Jones is recovering from an ACL injury that sidelined him for the rest of the 2023-24 season while Lock is coming from a short stint in Seattle. Jones is playing in year 2 of his 4-year, $160M contract. The Giants could and sounds like will let Jones go or trade him after this season when his cap hit plummets, giving the Giants more flexibility. With the sixth hardest schedule this season, the Giants are definitely set up for a long and challenging road ahead.
