Despite its fairly small size, the Wiim Amp packs a lot of attractive features for anyone setting up a 2-channel listening station. It's got Wi-Fi built in, so you can stream high-res music over Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and more. There's also Bluetooth if you prefer, and it's 2-way Bluetooth so you can even broadcast your music to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

You'll get a lot of connections, too. An analog RCA input opens all kinds of possibilities. There's an optical input, so you can connect another source like a CD player and take advantage of the superior digital-to-analog converter built into the Wiim Amp.

HDMI ARC makes it a great way to step up your TV sound. Plus there is a USB input, which lets you connect a drive full of your favorite music, and makes them available for streaming to other Wiim streamers around your house.

The Wiim app lets you combine other Wiim streamers into a multi-room system. Wiim also makes non-powered streamers that work seamlessly together, while the app collates your music into one easy-to-use and flexible interface.
