Olive wood has so much character, color, and amazing shapes. Each piece is a work of art before I even touch it.
I used @JDictionResin and resin pigments instead of mica powders so you can still see the wood grain below the blues and through the waves. I use a few drops of @LETSRESIN ocean white pigment to create the waves.
When I was photographing them, I could see that the wood shape and grain took on animal shapes and looked like a whale in one and a guinea pig or bear in another. What do you see?
