For this test I use a multimeter, alligator clips and a heat gun, you can use a hair dryer. I put the multimeter at 200k ohms, it will give an approximate value of 9.0, since it is from a peugeot engine, in other engines the value changes, if it does not give any value it is damaged, then I apply heat and the value has to go down, now which is a sensor with a negative coefficient, when it cools down again the value will rise again. This one works fine.
