Since 1964 Disaster Action Teams have served as the foundation of the American Red Cross disaster relief in our communities, responding every day to tens of thousands of home fires and other disasters that are devastating for those affected, but may not be featured in the news. Disaster Action Teams are comprised of and led by volunteers, and are on-call 24/7/365, supporting our communities with care and compassion, and providing immediate assistance during one of the toughest times an individual or family may have experienced.
