Internal search spam is an attack that adds dynamic URL's to your content. This is a sneaky attack and is hard to find. You can use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to see if these pages are being indexed on your site to see if you have this problem.
Low-quality content tends to be dynamically created pages from internal search on a website. Usually, a robots.txt file blocking Google and Bing from crawling these pages will stop them from getting indexed, but sometimes spam can get through. When that occurs, you need to follow these steps.
1) Update your robot.txt file to remove the disallow path
2) Ensure you have NOINDEX added in the meta robots area to tell Google and Bing to remove it from their index
3) Create a new XML sitemap with the URL's you want to remove and add that to your robot.txt file
4) Manually submit your new XML file to Google and Bing in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
5) Give both search engines a week or so to crawl the content. You will see these pages then removed from the index report in both tools
