Today I'm talking about how I keep my FIFA Youth Academy realistic with 6 tips I use to make my career modes more fun! I hope everyone enjoys this video!

Make sure your scouts are the right level for your team
To make it more realistic
3 star scouts in Premier League
2 in Championship
1 star in L1 & L2

You don't have to use all 3 scouting slots
While a smaller team, only scout your nation
When you’re a bit bigger, scout nation and one of other realistic nation
When you're huge go for any 3

Very few players make debuts before they are 18
Keep youth players in your academy until they complain
This makes them not over grow and be in the 90s at 21 years old
This also means you wont ruin their potential with them playing bad

Set a potential cap based on your division
Avoid signing 11 90-94 potential players no matter the league
Most teams will have 2-3 players with around 80 pot
The other 8-9 will be 70-80

Limit players to 1 player in each position
Eg if you’re playing 433
1 goalkeeper
4 defenders
3 midfielders
3 attackers

Consider making a youth intake day
Send all your scouts out for 9 months
On their final reports have a look at their reports
Pick 11 players (one player for each position in your main formation)
Discard the rest
This is your new intake for that season
Wait a few months and send them out again
This is good as lets AI teams have first pick of the players you’re scouting
Makes the AI develop good young players too
Means you wont always have all the best generated players
