We all have a role to play in the customer/service provider relationship. When you are playing the customer role, it's best to be open to being serviced. I know it sounds insane, but it's true.
A number of us have lost faith in being serviced and, therefore, attempt to fulfill both roles. That's the crazy part. Yes, we can carry baggage as customers, and that baggage impacts future service-provider relationships.
It's time to let that baggage go.
