The Gold Standard Restoration Act is back in the news! H.R. 2435 seeks to put the dollar back on the gold standard. In this video we take a look at why that may not be feasible and gold prices could shoot up to as much as $500,000 per oz!

I'm all for a gold backed currency, I think gold backed currency's have the best historical track record and keep inflation low. However the Gold Standard Restoration Act could actually force the dollar's value even lower. In the end, we look at alternative ways to back the dollar with physical assets.
