*UPDATE* If you can't find the casserole pan liners, a dutch oven foil liner works good too (although they cost a little more than $1 each). If you use an alcohol stove you NEED to have a windscreen. Even the high pressure butane/propane and whitegas stoves sometimes need a windscreen to help keep the flame alive and in place under you cook pot. This is just a simple little trick that is inexpensive and works pretty good. Easy to make with common household tools out of a common item that can be purchased just about anywhere.
