Courtney's featured ride this week is something you don't see every day; a 1960 Nash Rambler American. Owners Vickie and George Warren found it in Kentucky just collecting water. In a two and a half year resto, George sandblasted everything inside and out and narrowed the frame in the rear four inches per side, boxed then tubbed it for bigger tires - Hoosier Pro Street rubber.
George built it to handle a big V-8, but for now Vickie gets to keep the original flathead six. Inside he stretched the dash down three inches to hold the radio and A-C vents. The cloth seats are stock and check out all that glass, it's all original except the windshield and the two front doors.
George had a friend paint it PPG "Sour Apple Green" with a "Silver" top. Plus this weekend we'll go around the horn and talk to a host in each of our shows to find out what's on tap as we head into a six week marathon of all new shows just in time for spring.
